About the authors
Paolo Taticchi is Professor in Strategy and Sustainability and Deputy Director (MBA and Global Engagement) at the University College of London’s School of Management (London, UK). His research focuses on performance measurement and management, business networks, and corporate sustainability. He has published over 50 academic journal articles, and edited and co-authored four books, including Corporate Sustainability in Practice (Springer, 2021). In 2021, Paolo was indicated by Italy’s leading business daily newspaper, Sole 24 Ore, as the most influential Italian under the age of 40.
Melissa Demartini is an Adjunct Professor and Postdoctoral Researcher at University of Southern Demark (Odense, Denmark). Her research interests are mainly in the areas of corporate sustainability, operations management, and modelling. She has published over 25 papers in various indexed international academic journals. Outside of academia, Melissa iscurrently involved in research and consulting projects related to the sustainable and digital transformation of business and the role they play in the SDG agenda. She is also co-editor of Corporate Sustainability in Practice (Springer, 2021).
Melina Corvaglia-Charrey is a Research Assistant at the University College of London’s School of Management (London, UK) where she supports various projects focused on business strategy and sustainability including case studies and white papers. She has previously worked as a Sustainable Content Marketing Specialist for a UK-based consulting agency specializing in sports and sustainability, which is her particular area of research and academic interest. She is also a current member of Sports and Sustainability International (Lausanne, Switzerland) which is a non-profit organization that focuses on accelerating sustainability in and through sports.
