About the editor
Abdesslam Boutayeb is Professor at the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computing, Emirates Aviation University, Dubai. He has spent 20 years carrying out research in biomathematical modelling, burden of diseases, health equity and social determinants of health. He has published 75 articles, 6 books, 16 chapters in books and 10 conference papers. He has been a consultant with the World Health Organisation since 2011 and has written six reports for WHO.
