Abstract
A new modified method is proposed in this work to find maximum amount of disperse filler φm (packing density) in disperse-filled polymer-composite materials from oil absorption (X) based on GOST (State Standard) 21119.8–75. The relationship between oil-absorption value X and parameter φm for fillers of different dispersion was found. Parameter φm obtained with the oil-absorption method for different fillers almost coincides with those values found with other known methods.
