Abstract

A study of phytoplankton in Lake Bolshoe Toko (Yakutia) using scanning electron microscopy has made it possible to obtain the first data on the species composition of Bacillariophyta. A total of 162 species and varieties from 47 genera have been identified, including 96 taxa new for the Aldan River basin, 67 taxa new for Yakutia, and 6 taxa (Сymbopleura cf. lura, Fragilaria perminuta, Gomphonemaparallelistriatum, Pinnularia cf. neomaior var. inflate, Pinnularia cf. stidolphii, and Planothidium cf. distinctum) new for the flora of Russia. The systematic position and authorship of 22 taxa from 5 genera of Bacillariophyta (Fragilariophyceae and Bacillariophyceae) from reservoirs and watercourses of the Aldan River basin is specified.
