Russian Metallurgy (Metally) Aims and scope

Abstract—The existing methods of drying and heating of the lining of metallurgical plants and their impact on the environment are compared. The features and advantages of electric heating are shown, brief results of the use of electric heating systems for the linings of ladles of various sizes and types are presented, and prospects for the use of electric heating of the lining of a tundish are shown.
