The closed and open arrowheads indicates the deduced timing (that is, the common ancestors of Actinopterygii and Actinopteri) for the acquisitions of introns in exons 3 and 6 of TAS1R3B, respectively. The total number of exons of the TAS1R3B genes is shown in parentheses.
