Abstract

The construction projects require the analysis and application of modern management knowledge to identify the design and construction process. Construction projects have a set of goals and constraints that are a predetermined framework of technology, arrangements, and organizational processes. In this study, a combination framework has been developed based on the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) approach and whole process engineering consulting (WPEC) mode. The effect of the proposed model has been evaluated on construction project management at Quzhou Central Hospital Project, located in Quzhou city, China. This paper aims to the introduction of relevant theories, combined with the case analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the construction project management using the EPC + WPEC. Through the introduction and analysis of the whole process engineering consulting service, the results showed that EPC projects are more suitable for WPEC mode, and the full combination of advanced contracting mode and project management mode is of practical significance to improve the comprehensive benefits of the project.
