Abstract
In this article, problem of output tracking and disturbance rejection for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy control systems with constant delay and external disturbances is discussed. Precisely, an enhanced equivalent-input-disturbance technique is incorporated into proportional-integral controller design to guarantee the output of the resulting system to tracks the given reference inputs even in the presence of disturbances in the system model. A novel set of sufficient conditions to ensure asymptotic stability of augmented closed-loop fuzzy system is developed in terms of linear matrix inequalities with the assistance of suitable selection of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. Further, observer and controller gain matrices are determined by solving linear matrix inequality-based constraints. At last, two numerical examples are provided to validate the effectiveness of established theoretical results
