He received his M.S. degree from Hebei University of Technology, China, in 1992, and Ph.D. degree from Nankai University, China, in 1997. He is currently a professor of the Institute of Automation, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. His research interest includes nonlinear system control, and fuzzy systems.
