Assessment of Water Availability in a River Basin Based on Generalized Water Consumption Coverage Criteria

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

The article formulates the basic principles of rational water consumption and touches upon the issues of transboundary water use. A generalized system of criteria for satisfying the quantitative requirements for water resources of a river basin is proposed. The study also formalizes the issue of estimating the water resource potential in the mode of optimizing the firm yield at the site of a reservoir hydraulic structure.
