Proposals for Correcting the Deficiencies in the Design of the Stilling Basin of the Tishrin Dam in the SAR

The shortcomings of the designed structures (primarily the stilling basin) of the Tishrin Hydroelectric Project on the Nahr al-Kabir al-Shamali river are revealed and studied. Their operation is analyzed. The optimal parameters of the structures that prevent such errors in the design of similar hydraulic projects in the SAR are justified theoretically and numerically
