Results of Development of a Jet Reactor Design for Second-Stage Sulfuric Acid Alkylation

  • Published:
Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Aims and scope

Enhancement of sulfuric acid alkylation process efficiency in oil refineries by introducing a newly designed jet reactor into the process is proposed. The process efficiency increase has been proved by numerical modeling based on the obtained hydrodynamic flow rate distribution patterns in the apparatus.
