Abstract

A new scheme of time step** for solving the dynamic viscoelastic problems are presented. By expanding variables at a discrete time interval, FEM based recurrent formulae are derived. A self-adaptive algorithm for different sizes of time steps can be carried out to improve computing accuracy. Numerical validation shows satisfactory performance.
