Derivation of the van Kampen's causality condition for complex potentials and related problems

Abstract

Following a method originally due toSaavedra, van Kampen's causality condition for scattering by complex potentials was derived. Together with this problem, both Wigner inequality and Levinson theorem are also discussed in the context of scattering by regular and singular complex potentials.
