Conclusions
-
1.
The reaction of H2PdCl4 with carbon supports results in the formation of chloride complexes of Pd(II) with adsorption sites located on the unoxidized sections of the surface.
-
2.
At least three types of H2PdCl4 adsorption sites which differ in the strength of the complexes with Pd(II) formed and the reactivity to the effect of oxidants were found. It was hypothesized that the elements of the π system of the carbon support are the adsorption sites of Pd(II).
