Fractal characteristics of near-electrode formations during electrical discharge in water

Abstract

In this work we have investigated the characteristic features of optically dense near-electrode formations appearing during electrical discharge in water. We have established that they have a fractal surface. We propose a stochastic model to describe their growth. We show that the optically dense formations are charged and weakly conducting.
