Abstract

With the interest in ICT technology and the efforts of technology development, future ICT technologies such as virtual reality (VR) technology are rapidly develo**. Virtual reality technology enables to acquire of specific technologies in a virtual space similar to reality, and can be repeated as many times as necessary. So it is effective to apply it to the disabled as exercise contents for sports experience and rehabilitation. Effective VR sports for the disabled should be applied differently according to the type and severity of disability rather than applying the latest technology unconditionally. And If VR technology is combined with artificial intelligence (AI) in the future, new changes will be made in the field of physical education for the disabled as well as non-disabled sports, furthermore it will help to improve the sports skill of the elite athletes with disabilities.
