Abstract

An interleaved high step-up DC–DC Boost converter is proposed in this paper. The converter applies two auxiliary cells at the input and two switched capacitors to reach high-voltage gain. Due to the interleaved structure and two auxiliary cells which create four paths at the input side, the current ripple and stress decrease significantly. Soft switching condition is obtained without using any auxiliary switch resulting in high efficiency. The converter has a simple control circuit, and it can be operated in a wide range of duty cycles. Operating modes and design procedures are presented in detail with equivalent circuits and relevant equations. The comparison with other similar structures is done to show its superiority.
