Smart Education and e-Learning - Smart Pedagogy (SEEL-22 2022)

Abstract

As a result of the current global pandemic, universities needed to rapidly convert to hybrid and distance learning. An international, cooperative course on global software engineering, jointly held by two universities, one in Japan and one in Germany, is described. Challenges posed when conducting a distributed course simultaneously in-person and online are described. Experiences reported by students are described. The results of the course are evaluated according to Smart Education levels.
