Abstract
Ever since its outbreak, COVID-19 has brought forth an atmosphere of dismay and uncertainty across the globe owing to its highly infectious nature and the associated fatalities. The delivery of healthcare services saw a paradigm shift during the pandemic and new guidelines emerged for the systematic and efficient provision of antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women. In view of the limited number of case reports of infection during pregnancy, the enhanced morbidity and mortality in this subgroup, and the possibility of vertical/neonatal transmission, its management is challenging and requires a multipronged approach. The current chapter highlights the progress made so far on the basis of guidelines issued and the management alternatives available at the moment.
