Abstract

In the analysis of underground structures with finite element program, especially in three-dimensional finite element analysis, it takes 20–80% of the calculation time to solve linear algebraic equations. PCG method (PCG method for short) has the characteristics of inherent parallelism and fast convergence speed, which is the hot spot and the key to solve this problem in parallel computing in recent years. It is economical to use the cheap LAN for network parallel computing, which is in line with the national conditions of our country and is an important direction of the development of finite element method.
