Abstract
Ocular toxoplasmosis is a common cause of infectious posterior uveitis that can be either congenital or acquired. Typical disease presents with retinochoroidal infiltrates, vitreous humor cells and haze, and anterior chamber cells and flare. The hallmark of toxoplasma retinochoroiditis is the presence of whitish lesion adjacent to a pigmented or atrophic scar along with dense vitritis. Ancillary imaging tools such as fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography are very useful in the diagnosis and management of this condition. In the index chapter, several cases of toxoplasma retinochoroiditis along with their follow-up after treatment have been described.
