Zusammenfassung
Eine Mesenteriumverletzung führt potenziell zu einer Durchblutungsstörung des zugehörigen Darmabschnitts (sowohl arteriell als auch venös). Je nach Ausmaß der Verletzung kann daher eine Resektion des betroffenen Darmanteils erforderlich werden. Traumatische Mesenteriumverletzungen ohne assoziierte intraabdominelle Verletzungen kommen praktisch nicht vor.
