Zusammenfassung
Angesichts schnelllebiger und durchgehend geplanter Lebensentwürfe fragen sich immer mehr Menschen, ob eine Orientierung auf das Morgen, die Zukunft, das Richtige für das eigene Leben darstellt. Obgleich sich alle einig sind, dass ein gewisses Maß an Zielstrebigkeit und Lebensplanung förderlich ist, geht der Trend hin zur Gegenwartsorientierung – verbunden mit dem Ziel, achtsam den gegenwärtigen Moment wahrzunehmen. Dabei ist laut der Forschung zur Zeitperspektive jede Zeitebene – sei es die Vergangenheit, Gegenwart oder Zukunft – mit spezifischen Merkmalen und Konsequenzen assoziiert. Auch die Forschung zur Achtsamkeit birgt interessante Ansatzpunkte zu der Frage, ob es sich lohnt, das Leben auf den gegenwärtigen Moment auszurichten.
