Zusammenfassung
Eine Mastozytose ist durch eine ungewöhnliche Ausbreitung und Ansammlung von Mastzellen in verschiedenen Geweben gekennzeichnet. Da Mastzellen die zentralen Effektorzellen der IgE-vermittelten Soforttypallergien und auch von nicht-IgE-vermittelten soforttypähnlichen Reaktionen darstellen, sind diese Erkrankungen von besonderer Bedeutung für die Allergologie. Mit einer Inzidenz von 0,3–0,6/100 000 gehört sie zu den seltenen Erkrankungen. Orientierend lassen sich Mastozytosen in kutane und systemische Mastozytosen einteilen. Im Kindesalter kommen vorwiegend kutane Mastozytosen vor, die meist bis zum Pubertätsalter in Remission gehen. Ein Befall des Knochenmarks oder anderer extrakutaner Organe definiert eine systemische Mastozytose. Diese Form kommt zumeist im Erwachsenenalter vor. Die häufigste Form im Erwachsenenalter ist nach WHO-Klassifikation die indolente systemische Mastozytose. Diese Form hat eine sehr gute Langzeitprognose.
