Abstract
This is an introductory chapter in which the fundamental limits in channel capacity. Motivation and scope of the work presented in this book were briefly discussed along with some identified objectives to find effective antenna solutions for high-speed communications with special reference to UWB and MIMO systems. Finally, organization of the book was given.
