Abstract
Multiple evanescent white dot syndrome (MEWDS) is a rare idiopathic ocular inflammatory disorder manifesting as white to yellow-white lesions in the posterior fundus after a viral prodrome. The condition is more common in young females. Symptoms often include blurry vision, photopsias, floaters, and visual field defects. The disorder is characterized by spontaneous resolution of the lesions with excellent visual prognosis.
