Abstract

In this paper the role of Tactile Feedback devices in Virtual Reality systems is defined. The idea of the Tactile Feedback glove with magnetorheological fluid is presented. The components of the glove, which is a mechatronic system, are described. A measurement system using a resistive flex sensor to determine finger deflection in the Tactile Feedback glove is presented. The final result of the PBL project, a Tactile Feedback glove integrated with the Virtual Reality system, is presented.
