Abstract
The Good Behavior Game (GBG) is a well-supported group contingency-based intervention with an array of established applications and variations. Research has indicated that the GBG is a robust procedure capable of producing substantial and immediate improvements in behavior in and with a variety of populations, settings, and behaviors, as well as long-term effects. In this chapter, we will discuss the origins of the GBG, modern procedures and common variations, empirical support, considerations for implementation, and future directions.
