Abstract

More than 100 histologically distinct subtypes of malignant and benign brain and other central nervous system (CNS) cancers exist, each with its own descriptive epidemiology, set of clinical traits, range of therapies, and course of action. Due to their high fatality rate, they bear an unfair share of the burden of cancer mortality. This chapter aims to provide the reader with the knowledge on the different epidemiological aspects of brain tumors, including their identified risk factors, with the aid of fifteen questions.
