Abstract

A new transient chaotic neuron model which introduces Legendre function into the self-feedback term is constructed. The dynamic characteristics of the single neuron are analyzed by the time evolution graph and the inverted bifurcation graph of the largest Lyapunov exponent. The network parameters are set for settling the combinatorial optimization problem. The effectiveness of this model has been verified by the simulation results in nonlinear function optimization, traveling salesman problem (TSP).
