Abstract
Bladder Exstrophy-Epispadias Complex (BEEC) is the current term for three congenital anomalies involving failure of fusion of the bladder and urethra. It includes classic bladder exstrophy, cloacal exstrophy and epispadias. Reconstruction involves major surgery and is usually staged.
