Abstract

Abstract:The International Consortium on Landslides (ICL) and The Global Promotion Committee of the International Programme on Landslides (GPC/IPL) have been making ceaseless efforts to mitigate landslide disasters worldwide. For this purpose, the ICL has been inviting sponsorship from industries, businesses, and government agencies; all leading players in landslide science and technologies. They have been supporting a variety of the ICL/IPL activities such as publishing the International full-color journal “Landslides (Journal of the International Consortium on Landslides), organizing the World Landslide Forums (WLFs) every three years since 2008, exhibiting their cutting-edge technologies in WLFs, etc. This article introduces their activities with their names, addresses and contact information.
