The term “mind” encompasses all mental activities of an individual. It refers to the subjective representation of the objective world by the human brain or the organism’s reflection of the objective reality. It is also referred to as mental phenomena and is juxtaposed with materiality. In terms of classification, mind can be categorized into two major types: animal mind and human mind. Animal mind falls within the realm of comparative psychology, whereas human mind constitutes the primary focus of psychological research, primarily delving into the psychology of humans. Human mind stands apart qualitatively from animal mind; it represents the pinnacle of development in the material world—a form of movement and the outcome of the human brain, evolving under specific influences of social, cultural, and linguistic factors.
