Group mind refers to the psychological phenomenon within a group. It refers to the psychological tendencies and attitudes that are unique to a group, as well as the group’s psychological characteristics that result from the interaction of these psychological tendencies and attitudes. The concept also known as collective mind is the opposite of individual mind. Group mind reflects the psychological experiences and behavioral responses of group members as a result of interaction. It also reflects the shared emotional and will states of the majority of group members. Individuals in a group interact and influence each other, resulting in group mind. Group mind is the object of study in the field of group psychology. It is also an important field of research in social psychology.
