Insulating mineral material is the material having electrical insulating property mainly composed of mica, asbestos, silicon micro-powder, calcined kaolin, etc.

Classification

According to different purposes, insulating mineral materials can be classified into electric appliance insulating materials, electronic insulating materials, and wire and cable insulating sheathing compounds. According to different raw materials, they can be divided into mica insulating materials, asbestos insulating materials, silicon insulating materials, and calcined kaolin insulating materials. Mica insulating materials can be further classified into mica tapes, mica plates, mica foils, heat-resistant mica paper, and synthetic mica paper products. Asbestos insulating materials can be classified into asbestos insulating paper, insulating tapes, insulating rubber plates, and insulating bushings.
