Zusammenfassung
Die Pubertät als Übergangsphase zwischen Kindheit und Erwachsenenalter ist der Lebensabschnitt, in dem sich die sekundären Geschlechtsmerkmale bis zur kompletten Ausprägung des adulten weiblichen oder männlichen Phänotyps entwickeln, der Pubertätswachstumsschub abläuft und die Fertilität erreicht wird. Diese Entwicklungsphase wird von tief greifenden psychischen Veränderungen begleitet.
