Abstract

In this chapter, angle information acquisition for location sensing in the RIS-enabled ISAC system is addressed. In Sect. 3.1, the introduction is first provided. Then, Sect. 3.2 proposes an RIS-aided AoA estimation method for single-user localization. Then, Sect. 3.3 extends the single-user case to the multi-user case, where simultaneous multi-user localization is realized. Finally, Sect. 3.4 summarizes this chapter.

Notes

  1. 1.

For mmWave signals, channel measurement campaigns reveal that signal power of the LoS component is about 13 dB higher than the sum of power of non-line-of-sight (NLoS) components.
