Abstract

Restricted by the surface conditions and geological targets, baotanhai oil field in Southeast Hebei Province mainly relies on artificial island and land shore platform and adopts highly deviated wells for exploration and development. The reservoir has some technical problems, such as deep burial, high formation temperature, long inclined section, serious wellbore instability, poor formation drillability, low ROP, long drilling cycle, etc. Comprehensive technical research on test and other aspects. Field application has achieved obvious results: ROP increased by 39.86%, averagesingle well drilling cycle shortened by 38.5%; well diameter expansion rate controlledwithin 7%, well quality has been significantly improved, the goal of safe and rapid drilling within 5000 m of horizontal displacement of highly deviated wells in beach artificial island has been achieved, which provides technical support for speeding up the pace of exploration and development of beach oilfield in southeastern Hebei Support.
