Abstract
This chapter showcases seven sharing economy platforms from Seoul. These case studies illustrate how sharing economy entrepreneurs are able to over come universal issues such as investor monopoly on sharing platforms, the illegality of domestic shared accommodation, the cost of job interviews, traffic congestion during lunch breaks, high insurance premiums, household cleaing, efficiency in learning a second language, and petsitting. The cases suggest that these successes are only the tip of the iceberg for what these entrepreneurs will be able to come up with next.
