Abstract
Base on three dimensional model created by Pro/E, a virtual prototype model for a certain type of 20t excavator was built in ADAMS. Then, the working parameters and the hinge point forces under fixed postures of the working device were simulated by using the virtual prototype model and the correctness and effectiveness of the model was verified by comparing the simulation results with theoretical value. Moreover, dynamics simulation for hydraulic excavator working device was carried out and the stress of the hinge point was obtained, which provided the basis for strength analysis of excavator working device.
