Abstract
This report calculated and ranked the comprehensive indices of the resource-saving city and the health indices of eco cities in the 284 cities at or above prefecture-level from 2008 to 2013 according to the evaluation index system of the resource-saving city, and focused on the evaluation and analysis of those cities whose construction of the resource-saving eco city is of a better standard. Through a comparative analysis of the comprehensive indices and every single indicator of each city, the report studied the differences in construction of the resource-saving eco city in different cities, compared and analyzed the changes in specific cities from 2008 to 2013, studied the differences in eco city construction in some cities over time and explored the reasons for the differences in order to provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for the construction of resource saving eco cities both in China and globally.
