Abstract
A lively and constructive discussion followed the presentations made in each of the five technical sessions of the workshop. A concluding session was also held, at the end of the meeting, during which previously raised issues were again discussed and a number of actions identified as being necessary for the development and set-up of a comprehensive Drought Watch System for Europe.
