Abstract
During the past thirty years the Arab-Islamic world has imposed itself on the international scene, and because of the value of its resources, has entered a stage of rapid transformation (Chaline and Fares 1986, 151). The Arab-Islamic world constitutes a territorial ensemble which is largely unified by its religion, culture, and language.
