Abstract

Glass plastics were essentially the first high-strength polymeric composite materials widely used in various branches of engineering and for domestic purposes. In spite of the ever-growing application of novel high-strength and high-modulus polymeric composite materials based on carbon, organic and other fibres, the volume of consumption of the various types of glass plastics continues to increase.
