Abstract

Spatial inhomogeneity of heating of fluids in the gravity field is the cause of all motions in nature: in the atmosphere and oceans on Earth, in astrophysical and planetary objects. All natural objects are rotating which must be taken into account at sufficiently large rotation rates. Therefore, the first question is when the rotation of convective systems is negligible and when it must be taken into account and to what changes it would lead in flow patterns and in the transport properties of the convective fluids.
