Abstract
During the past three years, we have been conducting a 20-cm radio frequency continuum survey of Abell clusters using the NRAO VLA. The survey consists of clusters which meet the following criteria:
-
(1)
All clusters with m10 <17m.0, and integrated flux densities S20 >100 mJy within 0.5 of an Abell cluster radius as measured with the NRAO 91-m Green Bank telescope (Owen et al. 1982);
-
(2)
All Abell clusters with richness class ≥3 that were detected above 100 mJy with the 91-m telescope;
-
(3)
All sources in the Abell cluster fields observed with the 91-m telescope (~30’ in extent) which have S20 ≥400 mJy; and
-
(4)
All distance class ≤3 clusters with S20 ≥30 mJy.
