Samenvatting
Om eenzaamheid bij jeugdigen vast te stellen wordt meestal gebruikgemaakt van vragenlijsten. In de loop der tijd zijn verschillende eenzaamheidsvragenlijsten ontwikkeld die voldoen aan belangrijk psychometrische eisen als betrouwbaarheid en validiteit. Afhankelijk van de visie op eenzaamheid wordt er een onderscheid gemaakt in uni- en multidimensionele vragenlijsten. Een goed voorbeeld van de eerste categorie is de veel vertaalde en bewerkt UCLA-Loneliness Scale. Een voorbeeld van de tweede categorie is de Children’s Loneliness and Social Dissatisfaction Scale (LSDS).
