Samenvatting
Er zijn diverse interventies ontwikkeld om eenzame jeugdigen te helpen. De meest effectieve behandelingen sluiten zoveel mogelijk aan bij de oorzaken. Daarover wordt verschillend gedacht. Zo zijn er interventies die erop zijn gericht het sociale netwerk te mobiliseren, sociale vaardigheden te verbeteren, onjuiste denkbeelden te veranderen of adequate co**strategieën te ontwikkelen. Het meest effectief blijken de cognitieve gedragsinterventies.
