De diagnostiek en behandeling van mensen met een ongunstige frontrelatie en/of verregaande gebitsslijtage bij wie het fenomeen ‘restricted envelope of function’ vroeger of later voorkomt, hoort thuis binnen een multidisciplinair samenwerkingsverband.
In deze bijdrage staan een orthodontist en een prosthodontist stil bij de noodzaak van vroege interventie en bij verschillende behandelmogelijkheden aan de hand van casuïstiek van patiënten in opklimmende leeftijd.
